Application
Diphenylsilanediol is a very useful intermediate for the synthesis of organosilicon materials. It can be used to synthesize octaphenylcyclotetrasiloxane, which can be directly used to prepare silicone resin or inorganic organic polymer silicon polymers. Silicon containing polymers have excellent mechanical and thermal properties, as well as various special optical properties. Diphenylsilanediol can be used as a structural control agent for silicone rubber, reducing the structural phenomenon of silicone rubber and improving its processing performance; it can be used to synthesize phenyl silicone oils, phenyl silicone resins, phenyl silicone rubbesr, etc. It can also be used as a modification intermediate for polyurethane resins, epoxy resins, acrylic resins, PP, PET, PE, etc., endowing new products with properties such as high and low temperature resistance, radiation resistance, and aging resistance. It can be used as a structural control agent for silicone rubber, raw material for benzyl silicone oil and intermediate for other silicone products. Its downstream product is methylphenyl vinyl silicone rubber (120 type).
